Cancer updates:
I hate writing them, but at the same time it is so therapeutic…sometimes it helps me realize I am worried about nothing, other times it prompts me to see my oncologist.
I didn’t have another appointment with my Oncologist until late August but recent developments have caused [...]
I’m back on the ‘medicinal marijuana’ bus again…..
Some people are idiots…
Like the ones who call pot a ‘gateway drug’
Sorry, but pot doesn’t lead to the use of harder drugs, if anything, it lessens inhibitions asscoiated with the fear of ‘trying’ other drugs.
Chronic potheads are just too damn lazy [read :stoned:] to care about other drugs, like; meth, coke, heroin etc. I grew [...]
Miles Levin has died
Miles Levin died yesterday. he left his earthbound body behind, hopefully off to bigger, better and even happier times.
I watched from a distance as he became a sort of celebrity, Larry King wanted to interview him. HIM. A gangly boy with a deadly disease.
I followed his family blog and commented often on his message board [...]
New web poll Please take a moment
Okay
my husband and I are considering opening a business where we sell ONLY sugar free items it would be here in our local area in Wilmington North Carolina
If the store works out we would go to adding an online shop for mail orders of products we carry in our store.

Waiting for biopsy results
I had a biopsy taken last Friday and I am still waiting for the results.

I never used to freak out about a new freckle or a swollen lymph node in my neck or groin. Now I am very aware of changes in my body. And I can sometimes over-react…but I think I am entitled to that because one can NEVER be too careful after having been diagnosed with cancer, [...]
Read Full Post | Make a Comment ( None so far )Looking on the bright side……….
…is there always a bright side? Or at least, a brighter side? Sometimes it is hard to tell when everything goes dark and your world is covered by a shroud of gloom and despair.
There is a lot to be said for the power of positive thinking and humor…humor….Did you know they call the funny bone [...]
Getting a cancer diagnosis
I think there are worse things one could be told by their Doctor.
[at least I am not terminal.]
Seriously, because of the way things ‘unfolded’ for me, I knew before the Doctor told me that I had cancer, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out, if the send you to an Oncologist, you [...]
