If everyone used re-usable canvas bags or re-used the plastic bags they get from the grocery store, it would help so much to reduce the amount of plastics waste we produce every day!
There is a floating mass of plastic waste in the northern Pacific ocean that has been contributed to by the USA, Russia, Canada, Japan and other countries. It is sickening to realize how wasteful we are as a species. Plastic goods are made from oil, paper goods are made from trees.
So, we are depleting our natural resources to produce garbage. How STUPID is THAT???
