Like the ones who call pot a ‘gateway drug’

Sorry, but pot doesn’t lead to the use of harder drugs, if anything, it lessens inhibitions asscoiated with the fear of ‘trying’ other drugs.

Chronic potheads are just too damn lazy [read :stoned:] to care about other drugs, like; meth, coke, heroin etc. I grew up with people, most of us are nearing the 50 year mark, if not already there, and we all smoked pot in high school and college and many of us still smoke it now. I know people who have smoked pot every single day for over 35 years…none of them ever went on to become users or addicts of harder drugs like heroin, meth or cocaine/crack.

We worried more about getting cancer because we might have smoked pot treated with paraquat or some other fetus maiming pesticide.

If smoking a couple of joints a day makes you mellow or chases away your chronic pain, where’s the harm?

Here is the answer, the government doesn’t care  about pot being a so-called gateway drug, that’s just the cover story they chose to use. What the government really cares about is revenue. And frankly, they make more money off illegal pot than they ever would make if they legalized it, which is why they are willing to ‘regulate it’ and legalize it, with conditions.

Hence comes the argument of medicinal marijuana.

It really makes no sense at all…THINK ABOUT IT!

We allow drug companies to create drugs that make an already depressed teenager go over the edge and commit suicide.

Oh well…it doesn’t happen THAT often.

We make drugs that stupify us to the point that we are unable to function, can’t walk, forget about trying to drive a car…well then, now that makes me disabled so I should allow the government to support me for the rest of my adult life…maybe if you smoked a joint once in a while you wouldn’t need those stupifying drugs! Eh?
